AZWV

AZWV (Anerkennungs- und Zulassungsverordnung Weiterbildung) is a legislative regulation drawn up by the German Minister of the Economy and Employment. It stipulates that every educational organisation which has been AZWV-certified must document, employ and continuously improve a “state of the art” system of quality assurance in all its educational and organisational processes.

An educational organization holding a valid AZWV certificate has the right to conduct educational programmes which are eligible for AZWV subsidies by the German state and the European Social Fund.
